What is the best at home weight loss program?

I want the food delivered to my door.
I want it to be reasonably priced.
I want it to be delicious.
I don't want to deal with meetings or talking to people.

I do weight watchers . It's not delivered to your door, but you can buy the boxed meals. I eat a fiber bar for breakfast, then the boxed meals for lunch and dinner. Snacks-I eat ANY of the "100 calorie packet" snacks…they are worth only 1 point. And you can add any salad or green leafy veggie to any meal and they don't cost you any points. I bought the weight watcher book off ebay and it's wonderful. I lost 12 pounds the first month, and was never hungry.
Good luck….oh….and I don't go to any of the meetings.

4 Tips for Staying on Your Diet Over the Holidays

Don’t let your diet derail during the holidays. Sure, you’ll be surrounded by high-fat, high-calorie treats. But you can just say no to holiday indulgences with these four tips:

1. Adopt the right attitude.
One of the reasons so many people gain weight during this season is because they allow themselves to let go of their regular eating patterns. They figure that they will be gaining weight anyway so why not indulge in their holiday favorites? Beware of this trap. Keep a goal of at least maintaining your previous weight loss during the holiday season. You certainly don't want to gain back all the weight you've lost just because of a few parties.

2. Eat before you party.
If you allow yourself to get too hungry, you will be more likely to overeat. When you starve yourself for a big event, you’ll end up eating more than your body needs. Plan for success by eating a small, healthy meal before you go a holiday party. If you have something in your stomach, you’ll be able to pass by the rich desserts and cookies and choose wisely.

3. Decide on your “cheats” ahead of time.
If you think you have to go through three months without touching a piece of chocolate, think again. When you deprive yourself, you’ll end up caving in and binging on all the delicious holiday food around you. Alternately, if you go to an event, make yourself a deal. Treat yourself to a healthy plate from the buffet table, then allow yourself a small slice of your favorite pie. Choose something you really love and then use that as a reward for sticking to your weight loss meal plan the rest of the time. Although it’s normally not a good idea to reward yourself with food, it could be your saving grace during the holiday season.

4. Increase Your activity.
A lot of people gain weight during the winter months because their activity levels have decreased. Instead of spending the evening playing in the backyard with the family like they did during the summer, they will bundle up and watch television. Make sure your activity level is increased throughout the winter months. Invest in an exercise DVD and commit yourself to completing the workout at least three times a week. Take up a new winter sport, such as ice skating or skiing. Do extra housework throughout the day to get your body moving, or take a walk around your office building on your lunch break. The more activity you do, the more you’ll be able to burn off the occasional piece of Christmas fudge or pumpkin pie.

What are the healthiest foods for rapid detox and weight loss?

I would like to go on a cleanse and start a healthy regimen for the new year. What are the best foods/combinations to do a detox and then a weight loss regimen? Are these cleansers like Puristat a bunch of hog wash or are they any good? I know to keep a low carb, low sugar, low fat diet, but are there any super food secrets I should know? Or juicing recipes that are great? Thanks so much!

I was just watching a segment on channel 3 news in Cleveland OHio about detoxing… I tried one that really did seem to work well… as long as I followed it to the t… which I didn't

Anyway the segment basicially said that all the detox systems on the shelves aren't worth a whole lot, and basicially don't do a whole lot as a matter of fact when they contacted the companies they couldn't even tell you what detoxing is…. interesting

anyway at the end of the segment all she said was that PLENTY of water and TONS of greens (veggies that are green… the greener the better)… I would add to that myself spices.. like cayenne pepper or the like or maybe some tabassico sauce (great metabo booster as well)

I'm not saying that the detox boxes don't work but if you want a decent on your going to have to pay upwards 50 bucks…. and you may have a decent system that will work pretty effectivetly…

also there is also the master clense diet… which is water lemon (squeeze in the water) a table spoon of maple syrup, and a table spoon of cayanne pepper…. 3 times a day, with 8 ounces of water…
this is a fasting cleanse so you don't eat for 3-5 days depending…. but it doesn't detox… it just makes you poo and starve… but you lose the weight…

I'd recommend TONS of WATER and GREEN VEGGIES…. stick to that for about 2 weeks (qhich is what a detox program calls for) your clean yourself out and be ready for a great start to a new life… P.S. as an added bonus—– you can take the money that you would have spent and go get yourself a colonic…yum.,
