Any good weight loss tips?

Okay, so I was wondering if there were any weight loss tips, such as good foods or pills or drinks basically anything.

I want to lose a couple pounds maybe tone up a bit. I do excersise but not as often as I should. I just need some fast weight loss tips.

If you have any from experience.
Oh and maybe a way to get rid of cellulite, I know basically everyone has it I just want to know if you can do anything about it.

Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day

Fruits and vegetables are packed with beneficial fibers, vitamins and antioxidants. They fill up your stomach fast so you feel full earlier. They are also low in calories and helps to keep your calorie count low.

Watch for Portion Size

One serving of pasta means 1/2 cup of cooked pasta. However, most restaurants serve a pasta dish with 4 servings of pasta!!! You do not need to finish and clean off the plate every time. You can simply ask to take home the leftover.

Do not Skip Meals

Eating small frequent meals help to balance your calorie intake throughout the day and also keeps your blood sugar level balanced. Instead of eating 3 big meals, try to eat 5 - 6 smaller meals throughout the day.

Don't be overly-restrictive

Everyone has his or her favorite treats. Simply allow yourself a little indulgence, but watch out for the frequency and the quantity. Having a small treat once in a while can be rewarding to your weight loss experience. Cutting too much of your favorite treats usually lead to an early relapse.

Is working out in the morning with minimal food better for weight loss than an night?

So, I was thinking about picking up jogging again. I used to do it at anytime, and some times in the morning, before a big meal. I was told that doing this can help you lose weight faster. Is this true? Is it going to be more effective than working out in the evening, afternoon or night?

I 100 % guarantee you that jogging first thing in the morning will make you lose the most weight. Also, before a big meal is better than after a big meal. I'm not completely sure of the reasons, but I have read this idea several times. I believe it is because your glycogen levels are extremely low first thing in the morning (they were used up in the night) and so your body will burn fat. Again, this might not be the correct reason, but the idea is still correct. Good for you for picking it up again.

Help choosing meal plan for fast weight loss?

I have recently purchased the Slim in 6 workout program. I need to to lose weight fast, and yes I know that losing weight extremely fast isn't healthy, but I'm looking to lose the most weight I can in a healthy manner. What diet plan should I follow to go with this program? I am horrible at planning meals, I'm a vegetarian and seeking meals and food options that are inexpensive.

You will lose more body fat eating protein and fat (don't eat protein alone) than not eating AT ALL. To lose weight fast eat all you want but nothing but meat, eggs, healthy oils, mayo, butter and half an avocado a day (you'll need added potassium). Keep your fat percentage high. Adding in green vegetables & some cheese will continue weight loss but at a slower pace.

If you starve yourself, your body will freak out and will want to store every ounce in case it doesn't get nourished again. You need to give it adequate nourishment so it doesn't slow your metabolism down to compensate for lowered calories.

Simple carbohydrates (sugar, flour, bread, cereal, pasta, potatoes, rice) triggers insulin which can store the calories you eat into fat. The more protein you eat the more the fat burning hormone glucagon is released. The more carbohydrate you eat the more the fat storage hormone insulin is released.

High insulin levels unbalance other hormones. Controlling your insulin level will balance out other hormones & allow human growth hormone (HGH) to be produced naturally so you will gain lean muscle even without exercise. Any exercise will greatly increase your muscle mass with high HGH levels.

Reducing body fat and increasing muscle mass will have you in awesome shape in no time. Good luck!

Weight loss question (exercise and food)?

Hypothetically speaking, if I were to eat fast food for my three meals a day (just regular meals, not overdoing it), AND walk for an hour a day AND exercise including abs for an additional half hour a day, would I still lose weight and get in shape?

if you REALLY WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT AND FAT then you should remember and do this:

EVERYDAY RUN ( FAST WALK) + L-Carnitine + TAKE LESS CALORIES + LIPO-6 = 100% SUCCESS

1) if you dint have then buy scales!!! that is the first thing to do!!

2) run every 2 days for at least ~30 minutes or/and walk every day at least 5 km!

3) L-Carnitine!!!

L-Carnitine is a nutrient that helps the body turn fat into energy. It is produced by the body in the liver and kidneys and stored in the skeletal muscles, heart, brain, and sperm. Usually, the body can make all the carnitine it needs. Some people, however, may be deficient in carnitine because their bodies cannot make enough carnitine or transport it into tissues so it can be used. Some other conditions, such as angina or intermittent claudication, can also cause insufficient carnitine in the body, as can some medications.L-Carnitine is made in the body from the amino acids lysine and methionine. It increases the use of fat as an energy source by transporting fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are ‘burned’ to release energy for body functions. It is available in several different forms including propionyl-L-carnitine and acetyl-L-carnitine. Propionyl-L-carnitine, through its enhancement of metabolism has been proven to prevent ischemia-induced heart dysfunction, and acetyl-L-carnitine has been suggested to delay the progression of Alzheimer’s disease. L-carnitine should be taken one hour before you will exercise! (Also you can take L-carnitine with meals or 1 to 1-1/2 hours after meals!)

allows the body to burn more fat, save more glycogen, and ultimately boost stamina and endurance. By providing more fat to the muscles, carnitine makes accessible an otherwise unavailable energy source.

5) you MUST change your diet!! start to use products with less fat, less carbohydrates! start count your calories! do not eat more than ~1500 per day and if you feel that you can reduce this number then do it!

because if you will use L-Carnitine - you will get calories from your body fat too!! so better is to eat 2kg fruits then 1 cheeseburger…
and drink more and more water!! REMEMBER - NO rice, NO pasta, NO pork, NO mayonnaise, NO sweets, NO candies, NO alcohol!!!!!

AND DO NOT EAT AFTER ~8:00PM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone recommend any good fast weight loss diets?

I want to loose weight without using a fad diet and I want to loose weight naturally, but fast at the same time. Please give me a 7 day schedule of what I should eat or a recommendation of good foods. Also do you recommend skipping lunch? I always get bored, skip lunch and end up snacking, but when I'm not bored and skip lunch I don't snack. I am a teeensy-weensy bit overweight according to wii fit..

It is important to understand what happens when you skip a meal or go on a crash diet. When you skip a meal your metabolism slows to conserve your energy. raw food diet for fast weight loss - yes or no?

Is it a good idea? Is it a good idea if you weight lift? Is it a good idea if you have only couple of kgs to lose and you want to lose them fast? And is it a good way to lose weight? Fat? Or is it just water? Anyone been on it?

Nope, absolutely not. Raw food contains more a higher probability of contaminants. A diet only works if the foods you are eating are good for you and you can get energy off of it. Just stick to the normal foods you know you should be eating. Make sure you subtract 500 calories if you are not exercising and don't subtract if you are. If you cut too many calories your body will think it is starving and it will hold on to everything it can. That's why people who go on these outrageous 1000 calorie starvation diets fail.

How is a good way to loss weight fast?

i want to lose some weight in a few weeks, but i no all the basics and i have been doing them(drinking water, exercise ect.) but i havent lost anything and i have cut down on sugary foods too. HELP. TYY X

Try eating one meal a day. It works wonders. During the day, have chopped pieces of fruits and vegetables, if you must, otherwise, just drink loads and have your one healthy meal in the evening. Not too late though, maybe around 6pm or thereabout. You will be amazed at how quickly the weight will drop off.

fast food and weight loss?

i've stopped eating fast food for quite some time now.
I used to eat it EVERY DAY because my parents don't like to cook, however, it was my only meal a day, which was my dinner, i didn't eat anything else.

but in the past 6 months, i've not eaten fast food (with the exception of chik fil a and subway which i really dont classify as fast food) BUT, i've noticed that i'm always tired now, and i find myself eating more crap since i've stopped eating fast food.

i look backa nd i realize that i was a lot skinnier when i ate McDonald's once a day.
why is this??? do you think it's because there was high amounts of fat and carbs and all that that gave me energy?? (i also worked out every night after eating so i burned the fat off)

now, i eat a lot of times a day and i'm just recently cutting down because i want to lose wieght, but i just dont have the energy to workout.

do you think if i went back to my old ways of eating fast food once a day, i would gain energy and be able to burn fat again?

it's pretty simple really… You're body is adjusting to a different lifestyle, and the fact that you only eat once a day… Wrong answer…

you should eat 4 or 5 times a day, in smaller amounts… this gives you energy throughout the day! if you get hungry or feel tired, eat an apple or banana… both good sources of energy.

McDonalds is not the answer!

Fast weight-loss techniques?

I am 6 ft 3 in and about 265 pounds. I was always incredibly skinny growing up. When I came to college I started gaining weight a lot more than I ever had before. I have just recently improved my diet to strictly foods that are good for you. Boneless-skinless chicken breast, turkey lunchmeat w/ swiss, vegetables, lots of fruit, and some good cereal (special k, and fruit harvest). What else can I be doing to lose weight faster? I am the kind of person that quits when no results are shown.

Excellent start! Now, if you'll add some exercise (even walking will help) to your program, you'll begin to see more results.
