If I follow a 2 pounds a week weight loss plan for 14 weeks will I lose 28 pounds by the end of it or will there be a point where I will stop losing weight even if I eat the same food/low calorie diet?
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.
You won’t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body’s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight. Low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt — known as a dieting plateau. You can never get slim by starving yourself.
A healthy weight loss program is one which does not make you lose weight in such a manner that your health is spoiled. Starvation is not a worthy way to lose weight because most people will fail to abide to the program rules after a certain period.
Many such programs and diet plans go overboard in their attempt to make people lose fat rapidly. Fad diets or starvation diets are a definite no-no. There are so many harmful effects of starving yourself and not eating properly. And many times you would not lose body fat with such fad diets, instead you will lose water weight. Similarly - low carb diets, low protein diets etc. that make you eat only a certain kind of food and not others are also not a very good method of weight loss.
If you are really looking for the best weight loss diet,
I suggest doing what this mom did, combining the Acai diet with a cleansing program for the best diet result

Weight loss can sometimes go up a little then down more. It depends on what you have been eating. But the body does adjust to calories coming in and you can hit a plateau where you don’t lose any for a bit. That’s when it gets hard to stick with it…..but if you do you will start losing again.

Loosing weight is not achieved by missing meals, following fad diets, or relying on a fat burner alone. Infact, avoiding meals on purposes is probably one of the worse things you can do in terms of weight loss. The fundamentals are really simple, seriously. Anyone with some common sense will have figured these out even without reading these points.
1. Eat a healthy. balanced diet. I can’t stress this enough. Instead of avoiding meals, you should be striving to eat 5 small meals throughout the day.
2. Exercise. Exercise. Exercise. 3 to 5 times a week, and about 30 minutes each session is plenty. By the way, for those of you who prefer to do long session of cardio, I should tell you now that doing about 30 minutes of high intensity cardio will burn more fat.
