okay, my dad signed up for the isagenix weight loss program (the 30-day one) and is about to start it soon. I am happy that he is trying to get healthy again, but i’m a firm believer in simply eating good foods and exercising. true, i’m only 16 but still i am very active and i’m trying to get my family to start eating really healthy without starving ourselves.

Has anyone had a negative experience with isagenix? Any bad effects? After the 30 days, do you jsut continue a healthy lifestyle without the shakes and bakes and whatever else there is in the program? Just any comments will do, positive feedback as well.

thanks, jsut looking out for my dad!

Hi
If your dad returns to bad habits after the 30 days, he will likely gain the weight back. Generally, people feel so good after, that they do keep eating healthy.
Some people keep having the shakes for breakfast after a cleanse ( I know I do!)
I hope your dad has your support though, as it is not always easy to be on a cleanse!

You are a great daughter to be looking out for your dad. There seems to be quite a lot on the Internet about the program being a real scam. See below. There’s also a lot about the real value of cleansing generally as being a scam, too.

I think the hardest part for weight loss is that you have to be patient to start seeing results. Men generally have an easier time seeing results than women. But, this is not always the case.

Maybe what you can do is ask your dad how he is feeling for as long as he is on it and if he ever feels out of sorts, to recommend to him that perhaps a good alternative would be to cut out all junk food, the fast food mess, and start cooking solid meals and sticking to a schedule. And, a good rule of thumb is to start by cutting calories by 1/4 and then gradually cutting a bit more, then going back to regular portions. And, for some people, "regular portions" is what’s really doing them in in terms of weight gain.

    Hi Mandy,
Glad you are doing some additional research on behalf of your Dad.

My experience with the product has been wonderful, starting first in April 2006.
Since then I’ve worked with people all over the country helping them to use the product and all but one had great results. That one wasn’t ready to change their lifestyle to a healthy one.
Bad Side effect - possible caffeine withdrawal headaches
Continued healthy lifestyle will = results that stick.
Be sure your dad stays in touch daily with his cleansing coach to get the most out of the program and to make any necessary adjustments to his program for him to get his best results.
    Good luck to him.

Questions please feel free to contact me directly, I enjoy helping people change their life the same way I did. It feels GREAT!
