I have read that to lose weight more efficiently, one should eat 5-6 small meals per day instead of 3 big ones. What are the best foods to eat at these small meals to keep me from getting too hungry and promote weight loss?

Eat a salad everyday, primarily vegetables, with some meat: turkey/chicken/or fish, maybe some nuts. No dressing. You can use avacado or vinnegerate as dressing.
Have a few pieces of fruit. Maybe one glass of milk, and one piece of bread each day.
Avoid all sodas, candy, and processed junk food. Avoid eating when not hungry, and don’t eat past the point of filling.
Workout about 30 mins to an hour each day.. I guarantee you will drop weight fast..
But you have to stick with it and don’t give up if you have moments where you don’t see results.

brown wild rice
avoid going out to eat at fast foods if you must go out go have sushi
also do a bit more activity to encourage your body to use the metabolism
make small changes
like drinking more water
take the stairs for everything you do
go to the running room and join there group jogs and give your self a month of doing this and you really don’t know unless you try and if you see changes then stick with it if it doesn’t appeal to you no sweat then try acai berry take care and good luck

Capsaicin, the chemical that gives chile peppers their heat is a really good appetite suppressant. It also helps you burn calories quicker too.
Capsaicin is in hot sauces, fresh chiles etc, add some zest to your life!

I have found through the years, foods with high fiber is the best for weight loss. The fiber will keep you full longer, and obviously - promotes other things to happen.
So - anything type of fruits and veggies are going to be good. I am not a huge fan of salads, even though I should eat more of them. There are various soups out there that are healthy and are not a lot of calories. I have started making fruit smoothies in the morning, based on all fruits - again, helps with your fruit/veggie intake but in a fun way. If I am lazy, I go the Naked drink route.
Drink lots of water! The sodium in sodas cause water weight, and retain water in your system. Drinking water flushes everything right out!
A show on tv that talks a lot of choices and recipes for weight loss is "You Are What You Eat" on BBC America. Watching that will scare the be-jesus out of you and makes you not want to eat anything bad ever again. However, also gives suggestions on best meals to cleanse your body and promote weight loss. Some of them are very odd suggestions - but it never hurts to try them once!

I’m not a dieter, but I do know eating an apple about 15 minutes before eating any meal will make you eat less because of all the fiber you ingested.–Proven medical fact–

Fruits, veggies, whole grains… and drink plenty of water. The human brain sometimes confuses hunger with thirst. Often, a glass of water will curb the your perceived "hunger", when you are actually thirsty.

Let me be clear. There are a lot of foods you can eat that will aid in weight loss. I don’t want you telling your friends that Roace Cooper said that you can only eat 12 foods on a diet.
